Out of fairness to you, it did seem "SO OUT THERE" that I did more digging before posting as well - hence all the links in my original post - which included snopes. It had "URBAN LEGEND" written all over it.

What bothers me is the lack of media coverage. If this happened on a flight, there would have been a plane load of witnesses (anyone seen an empty flight lately?)
