October 30, 2009 | 2108 GMT
More than 1,000 businesses in Bolivar municipality in Venezuela's Tachira state were closed out of concern about rebel activity in the area, Globovision reported Oct. 30. Venezuelan armed forces moved in to occupy Bolivar and two other municipalities after five men, allegedly Colombians, were detained for distributing flyers making threats against local businesses.
