Hey Rich- We had an M1D in our armory in Thailand. It was way cool- All tricked out with an Unertl scope on it. I used it to go boar hunting with the local village hunters. I got put in my place when one of them killed a 400 pound pig with a .30 caliber muzzle loader. One shot one kill! With a home made muzzle loader using home made black powder! They did give me one of the tusks, which I still have...I should have kept the rifle when we closed the camp...
