'Dirty Harry' meets Abu Hamza, on a stool
London, England, Jul. 2 (UPI) -- British fears terror suspect Abu Hamza's signature metal hooks may be dangerous has led to new hooks being made and a personal bottom wiper retained.
Besides the new $9,000 hooks, officials at the top security Belmarsh prison have retained a nurse, identified only as Harry, to assist the Muslim cleric with his stools.
"Dirty Harry," as he is known at Belmarsh, is paid $55,000 and performs the service for other prisoners, too.
Harry spends up to two hours a day with Hamza, part of which is spent clipping his nails, trimming his beard and changing his clothes.
Hamza, 47, is in prison as the United States attempts to extradite him on terror charges.
