Thank you for your thoughts. I suspect the present gun shoots better than I do, so I can see that the greatest improvement would come from training and practice.

Good point...and you're the second person to mention reliability.
I'm thinking of the XS standard dots for tritium sights. I have the big dots on another firearm; they're great for short range, but not so good for more distant targets.
