David Passaro, 38, charged with murder of prisoner. The officials said Passaro had been a CIA contractor in Afghanistan, and now lives in the United States. He currently works at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Anyone got a local AO link with more info,etc. I know that some on this board may know this man. Any ideas or thoughts on this?
Is there any scenario that would have justified the beating- IF it was actually committed as reported? Should this be tried in US courts even though the potential crime took place in Afghanistan? Is this just martyr makin' on an former operator type to take heat off of Mother Army and the CIA leadership?
