Air,

I have a Savage 10FLP. In .308 win. (The one Major Plaster desgined for Savage) I bought it before Savage started putting there accu triggers in there guns. The action is stiff and the factory trigger sucked.

I had a good gunsmith try and rework the bolt to make it some-what smooth but it still rattles when you load or slide the bolt. Once it is seated it is solid as a rock.

The trigger pull was in excess of 14 lbs. I don't know what it broke at but it maxed out our scale at 14 lbs and still didn't break. I changed the trigger to an after market I got from Brownells. It shoots fine now.

Last and the best group I have ever shot with it was 3 inch group at 500 meters with 0 wind.

Bottom line I think it is a good rifle for the price
