Introduction
Greetings,
I'm an EOD team leader currently deployed to Iraq who has found himself at the point of deciding whether to continue working in the Army, or turn toward civilian life. 9-11 was my J.F.K. and brought me into the life both of my parents were involved in. My mother was in the Woman's Army Core before it was disbanded, and my Father met her in the military. I lucked out into picking Explosive Ordnance Disposal as a career field and I've experienced some very positive life lessons because of it. With recruiting emails and rumors of a special forces support company opening soon I find myself wondering if there is something even better out there. I've been perusing this website in the hopes of answering some of my questions about the special forces field. I realize that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but I'm curious as to if the complaints I have about my current job would be answered in a more demanding field.
