While down range every negligent discharge that I am personally aware of was produced by an E-7 or above.

I know that many of the higher ranking personal in the conventional units I served with did not, in many cases, come to weapon PMI. Or even the range at times.

One of many little gems I pulled of this web sight was the following quote; "Know that when you are through learning, you are through.". Seems it could apply here.
