Hello Sirs,

My name is Andrew, I'm 23 years old. I'm a senior at a University in Pennsylvania. I've been interested in joining the military since I was just a little guy. My father was a career AD Army soldier, so he is some of my inspiration for wanting to join. My dad was asked to join SFOD-D, and I think him telling me about that is what made me so curious to the SF community.
(He turned them down though, as he was just starting our family at the time.)
Every time I think about what I've wanted to do with my life, the only thing I can come up with is that I want to make a difference. In my eyes I believe the SF community does just that. That is my motivation and I know if I give it everything I've got and never give up that I will make it.

I graduate in June with a degree in Business Information Systems. I'm a very inquisitive person, I love to learn. From that love I came upon this fantastic site, and I have found a lot of valuable information. I would like to say thank you to everyone here who keeps these boards run top-notch, you guys do a fantastic job. I've lurked for a few months on and off learning everything I can.



What I'd like to get from being here is to understand more about the community of all the QPs out there. There is so much to learn from this site, not just knowledge but attitude, I've always been a person to ask a lot of questions so that I might understand things better. After reading a lot of what everyone has posted here it has helped me be a better listener, and I think as result better learner.


I'd like to thank you all for your service to your respective countries. I am a very patriotic person and I believe being a serviceman is the most honorable profession there is.
