I'm not sure how these things work for Kayaking and whatnot...but we had a guy here in our Aid Station that wore one for a couple of trauma resuscitations (think "Trauma - Life in the ER")...we TRIED to watch it afterwards, but the rapid head movements and constant changes in perspective did little more than make us nauseous.
It was almost PAINFUL to try and watch.
I wish you the best on your endeavor, but realize that it's not going to be National Geographic.
