I watched this program on PBS "America at a Crossroads" The segment I watched was titled "Religion without Fear". Irshad Manji is a woman that speaks out against radical islam. From the weblink:

"Trekking through the Arabian peninsula, Manji speaks with Osama bin Laden’s former bodyguard, who explains why he’s willing to turn his young son into a martyr."

If you could have seen the smile that came across this guys face when she asked if he wanted his son to be a martyr.....absolutely beyond the comprehension of the developed world to comprehend.



I tried to fit the reaction he had, the smile on his face, the light in his eyes.....Glee came to mind...


I believe his son was about 7 years old.
