I don't think the chevron is as precise as crosshairs. It also tends to obscure details - i.e. it covers large portions of the target. I won't be putting one on my SPR forgery. With that said - I like my TA31F. It's good enough that mounted on one of my carbines, I can reliably break clays at 200 yds. Body shots to 500 yds are relatively easy too. At close range the BAC is easy to use (with practice), at longer ranges I really like the target ID capability vs. the EOTech/Aimpoint. My .02 - Peregrino
