Curious, I got 19 hits on my first try.
I suspect that what the recruiter told you was correct, since he gets paid to enlist people and those who would offer you opinions here do not. When you go down to get the contract done, were you going to tell him that you heard something different on the internet?
The Army recently raised their maximum age for enlistment to 42. IMHO, this is a bad idea for a number of reasons.
I would not want to be on a team with a guy who is close to my age, much less after he has 5-10 years of team time under his belt. By then, he will almost be eligible for Social Security. Too many liabilities, not enough advantages. Where were you for the past twenty years?
