I dont see it as ground breaking just more dependable, lack of gas rings is the main reason i like it, but if I was just wanting to save money i wouldent even bother with a M-4 type design. I would buy a Ruger Mini 30 or 14, then trick it out with aftermarket part's.
Truth of the matter we need to move on to caseless in my opinion brass aint getting any cheaper or lighter.
