I read someone that those Smatchets are the thing at SFAS. I saw a post where TR said that it really tells the cadre you are a serious "operator" type if you show up with one in your kit verses the standard packing list.
OF course the special "airline pilot" type guys go one up and use that SF hatchet thing I read about once on Socnet. AS we all know, you must have Omega clearance to even purchase one of those though. Never seen one myself...
