I work in a recruiting station just under an hours drive from Bradford... Word on the street has it (my boss was talking with the Station Commander of Bradford's Recruiting Station yesterday) that several uniformed servicemen, some with tan berets and some with green berets, attended the funeral and some were even in Bradford all week "getting a feel for the lay of the land", as my station commander put it. Apparently the protesting group had a permit until 1500 Friday and they were packed up and heading out by 1502, as the local LEO's had to form a protective ring around them.

I would have made a point to drive over there, but I didn't know it was happening until it was over.
