I really appreciate you posting that. It ties in with a book I've just read: "Killing Rage" by Eamon Collins.

Collins was an IRA intelligence officer who confessed during an interrogation and incriminated dozens of IRA men. While in prison he recanted and amazingly was acquitted of five murders. He admits to his role in dozens of bombings and assasinations in the book.

Collins was from Newry and also a member of the Nutting Squad. Scap figures prominently in the book. Of course, Collins wouldn't have known that Scap was a double. (IRA later would kill Collins after his book was published.)

I don't remember Fulton (also from Newry) from the book, but Collins may have given him a psuedonym.
