TR Sir, I'm glad to see you like your P2000. I have a 40 also, serial number 17 the first one sold to a civi . The LEM trigger gets much nicer if your swap out the springs and drop the factory 8lb to about 4.5lb.
You won't see the P2000 in a .45ACP, but the HK45 Compact will be. Bout the same size and also has the replaceable backstap. Great ergonomics, even "feels" like a 1911. I'm sure Mr. Vickers had something to do with that.
If you ever make it out to the PACNW we could shoot some HK's.
