I'll wander out of my lane for a second and say...
First of all, I haven't done shit yet, I'm just an Active Duty MP with a Selection class date for April of this year. If you have an issue with conflicting information, then post away. But these basic questions concerning boots, rucking, and taking care of your feet have been covered countless times. Read the freakin' Stickys, and try not to piss off the QPs! We're lucky that they allow us to access this site, because for most of them no such resource existed when they went through the pipeline.
