Solid - Another main point is that shooting is a task that requires consistency. You must do the same thing over and over again to maintain any hope of accuracy. Anytime that you force a position, ie tilt your head unnaturally to the weapon, then you will have trouble repeating that tilt. Next your body will tire from being in an unnatural position and that alone will cause a change in your head position. My expereince is shooting rifles and you must always let the weapon come to you not the other way around.
