I like the whole upper but one of the components that really stands out is the flash hider. It is a Yankee Hill Machine 52C. The company describes it as a “Comp/Flash hider”.

It does a great job minimizing the flash as well as helping with muzzle control and noise. Anyone who has shot a 10.5 knows what I am talking about.

I have never used any YHM products before but I really like this piece of kit and highly recommend it if you are in the market for one.

Thanks,

SERPENT5XX;
thanks for feedback on the comp...I've had one of those new sitting in the pack for a year now. Was saving it for the 14.5, but may now give it a go on the 10.5.
TR, how are those surefire cans you mentioned looking - any specs/feedback out yet?
salud,
