I was especially interested in the RSI presentation.
Coincidentally, I got the following guidelines today for Succinylcholine storage/use in a tactical setting from a USAF LTC nurse anesthetist that's deployed here with me:
80 deg F or lower: maintains 100% efficacy for two weeks, and still usable out to three weeks
80-90 deg F: One week
Above 90 F: replace daily
Short exposures (<1hr) not a problem one or two times, but replace if it happens a fair bit.
So... if probably not something you could carry on a multi day patrol in a Iraqi summer... but especially now that its winter it can be added to an aid bag prior to missions with no problems.... and its shorter onset is much preferable to Vec for RSI given the choice.
