Thinking of what the Team Sergeant said I would say that I served a complete tour in each OCONUS assignment I had. OTOH nobody could accuse me of homesteading.

Upon further thought, since the 46th Company was really Co D, 1st SFGA, I guess I served in all OCONUS Groups.

As much as I wanted to extend while in Germany or Panama I wouldn't have felt right ducking the SEA War Games. I took what came my way. As luck would have it, my last tour in SEA was in Thailand. That tour was so tough I had to marry a Thai girl and we have been together for 31 years.
