One time at band camp.....

Sure does look cool but I get the feeling that these guys would last 30 seconds against a foe that knows how to fight and isn't worried about the cool factor.

I agree. jbour's picture pretty much sums that up, lol.

A bunch of Chuck Norris wannabees.

Kyobanim 02-17-2006 15:16

It's competition training. They know what it is and what it's not good for.

I figured it was a "stuntman" workshop.

What Kyobanim said... They know what their hobby is good for, for the most part anyway. Some of those guys are in incredible physical condition.

I would like to see an Olympic gymnist performing one of those routines as part of his/her floor exercise.

Seems like a bunch of dancers and entertainers rather then any real fighting force

:-)

The picture Jbour13 posted reminds me of Indiana Jones

I'd imagine that if these guys were trained to fight (as opposed to peform aerobatic gymnastics routines), they would probably be good at it: imagine the time and discipline it took for them to reach the level they are at, and- as was already mentioned- you have to be in obscene physical condition to perform many of those tricks.

Impressive.
