For some reason I don't think that these guys are going to get off on this one. After seeing the footage I doubt that it was as justified as the Rodney King incident.

My take is that this person resisted arrest. However, I am going to wait until more details come out before making a final judgement.

There's a big difference between restraining a drunk who may be reluctant to be taken into custody, and pounding someone's head in when you've already got them up against a wall and wrapped-up. I wonder what the excuse for hooking up the journalist will be. Bottom line: There is one set of laws, and they apply equally to everyone.

Take it somewhere else to discuss, its a police issue and we'll not be talking shit here about cops in the field without being there firsthand. Until the issue is "closed" you can take the gossip else where.
