Mr. Harsey, Are you taking orders for these yet? Maybe you'll have some at Blade West?

The crazy thing is that it looks big in Bill's hands. Isn't it the size of the 5.5 GB? Doesn't this fall into the "you can't do that category".

I'm chock full of questions.

I want one!

HaveBlue,
Thanks for posting the pics here.

The correct name for this knife is an "H-Class" Tactical Folder.

The "H-Class" refers to an all out high strength design by me. This knife will stay unique to this shop for quite some time.

Here are some specs:
5 inch long by 3/16ths inch thick CPM S-30V blade.
Convave grind with top swedge.
Very large internal surface joint area and bushings.
Heat treated large diameter 416 Stainless Steel master pivot bolt set.
.100 thousandths thick 6AL4V Titanium frames.
7075 T-6 Aluminum bolsters and back spacer.
Black and Green G-10 handle scales.
Large diameter rear attachment screws.
All other screws stainless steel.

When Sal Glesser (founder and owner of Spyderco) was shown the knife by it's owner, Sal said it was the strongest liner lock folder he's ever seen.

I'll take that as a compliment.

Hey, That's a picture of me in the bar of the Renaissance Waverly Hotel.

How'd that happen?

Thanks Terry.

What Sir William left out is that the blade is the first 5" or so of the GB Knife !!!

Do you remember being in the bar, Bill? :D

Basenshukai 06-09-2005 18:21

Where?

Where do I go to purchase that beautiful knife? I'd like to do it before I deploy downrange (in about two weeks).

Yep, I haven't mentioned this part to Chris yet...
He's in South Africa now.

That's why I have to keep this knife exclusive to this shop.

Be advised that that was a "ONE OF A KIND" Prototype. That puppy is a pure bread Custom Folder. Think along the lines of a Custom Firearm !!!! I'd bet that it took over a week to produce, i.e. not a "Production" model. You may want to look at the Lone Wolf Ranger, check it out below. S30V blade, titanium frame and glass filled nylon skins !!! Also the T-2 is a smaller version and is more suitable for a "Pocket Knife" !!
