Lester Silvernail Jr.

We received notice the Lester E. Silvernail, Jr. (D-307) passed away last night (April 16, 2005) in DC at the VA Hospital. No other details have been provided other than he wanted to be cremated and his ashes interred at Arlington Cemetery.

Does this mean that this is the John Silvernail I knew in German/ His SOA Decade number is about right. He would be one of the original "Decade Club" members. He was a giant of a man. He would break up fights in the club by getting between the combatants so they couldn't get at each other. Like the cartoons it was as if he would hold both swinging, kicking bodies by their collars. If it was "John" he was a hell of a man.
