Left wing authoritarianism, 5th gen warfare, and the PS.com model

https://youtu.be/IshVdJ96XJE?si=_JJg7OgHBcgjLeb9

Within this clip, there is an interesting take on the vulnerabilities to social stability created by online anonymity.
Over the decades, PS.com has proven to be one of the few online places which has effectively policed discourse.

Free dialogue has been allowed along with ruthless culling of the “predatory parasites” which destroy that freedom.
Not sure how this model would be reproduced at scale.

5th generation warfare is with us for good, and PS.com has been well ahead of he curve in discovering how to fight that battle.

I’m just thrilled to see the site back up. After several days of getting a domain expired error message…. I was thinking, well crap how do we get in touch with members and pass the hat around to pay the renewal fee?

ETA…. I am also glad to see Jordan Peterson back up and running. I had heard that he was really sick.

I second that, glad to see that the wealth of knowledge here on PS.com wasn't lost.

I own a small IT company, if it would help at all to take over the hosting and / or other tasks, I'd be glad to do this at no cost.

I don't think it's been down. I've reached it every morning on my 'coffee run'. Just no new postings.

The domain subscription failed to renew, and the site was down for a few weeks.

IF ANY ONE COULD LET THE ADMINISTRATOR KNOW
The real concern is I was shocked at the domain registrar's aggressively predatory pricing / penalties. Far from industry norm.
The domain really should be moved to a more standard domain registrar.

I probably should explain how I know that it was a lapsed credit card.

I assumed JR no longer owns the domain, etc.?
And for the life of me couldn't figure out how to contact anyone else from the board to advise the site was down. So, I rang the domain provider to see if there was a way to contact the site admin through that channel.

I asked one of their service reps via chat, if there was a way to contact the owner?
And they immediately told me the card had expired and would I like to provide them with a new card.... Nice account security there. *face palm*

Any way, my offer's still stands to provide website support services though the IT company I own, at no cost of course, if that's of any help.

I "own" the site and I was having some issues with the service provider as I thought it was on GoDaddy, which is good, and J had it on another one. After the provider and I finally figured it out, it is fixed.

So post away.

Glad to hear Joker!

Please know that I only contacted the provider when I saw the site was down for many days, and it had a warning that the site info would be deleted after 30 days or some such.

Anyway, do let me know if I can offer any support to you at no charge, I'd be happy to help.

Thanks Joker, for keeping things going. I know traffic has been slow the last few years but it's still a place I check often.

Thank you Joker!
