MSG(R) Gene Warfield RIP
 

Gene died last February in a car wreck in Okinawa where he lived after retiring and where he continued to serve as a DoD civilian. RUMINT was a heart attack but I don’t know for sure. During our trip to Oki and visit to 1/1 we were able to attend his memorial. Of note, I felt the Chaplain gave the best eulogy I have ever heard..he certainly is the right person for his profession.

Lest we forget.....

Served with Gene on Oki back in 84-87. Was truly sorry to hear about this accident and his passing. Rest in peace. Prayers and condolences for his family and friends.
