CSM Edgar Britt
With a heavy heart I am saddened to announce the death of CSM Edgar Britt. He was a Son Tay Raider and is now at the final Drop Zone.
Rest in Peace Brother. DOL |
RIP Brother, Vaya con Dios.
Prayers, and my deepest condolences to the Britt family. De Oppresso Liber I was very fortunate to have been able to drown a bunch of beer with SGM Britt at the monthly get-togethers at the Cape. :(:(:( https://vimeo.com/300343426?1&ref=fb...rNfxUpryEIWckk |

Damn,
I always enjoyed drinking a few beers and listening to CSM Britt's stories. He was a wealth of knowledge on the Son Tay raid. |
RIP CSM

I know this may seem a little silly, but the man certainly earned the honour.
I Googled Son Toy Raid, wanting to enjoy reading the story again. First click was Wikipedia; their briefs on military history tend to be short but informative; why not? There happened to be a list of the Raiders names, and the good CSM isn't on it  Could someone far more knowledgeable than me, have a quick read, and tell me where best to add the CSMs name. Happy to do the leg work. Wikipedia Cheers S |
