David Fike
 

I am saddened to report that David Fike, formerly with 7th and 20th Groups passed away February 14 after a long battle with cancer. David was one hell of a friend,and soldier. A memorial service is being planned in Las Vegas in March. RIP hermano.

Dave was an enlisted member of 1st Ranger Bn., Blue Light, C/2/20th SFGA (SSG 18D) He was commissioned and served in A/3/7th SFGA (ODA 775 Tm. Cmdr.) and 7th ID. He was Military attaché to Honduras, Venezuela and Surinam. He retired as a MAJ. He worked for several years as a contractor in Iraq and Africa with a number of companies.

He was know as "Dancing Dave" from his night part time job as a male stripper during Phase 2 of SFQC. Definitely one of a kind guy. Dave was a great soldier and great loyal friend.

May he Rest In Eternal Peace and Honor.
