SLAC wrist and 4 point fusion

The ligament reconstruction of my left wrist has failed and resulted in a SLAC wrist. The corrective surgical protocol is a 4 point fusion of the capitate, lunate, triquetrum and hamate bones using a spider plate. Has anyone had experience with this procedure and if so what was the outcome?

Depends on your age and your job.
I've had a fusion in my foot and as a physician seen lots of fusions. Very dependent on your needs.
