Gun Cleaning Tip # 001

Before running your bore brush through a rifle barrel take an empty plastic water bottle and cut a 1 1/2 inch line, lengthwise, through the mouth of the bottle. Then slide the plastic bottle over the end of the barrel to catch all that nastiness that explodes out every time the bore brush comes out the muzzle.

Quit making sense, TS. :)

If you like to pull from chamber to muzzle, just cut a small hole in the bottom of the bottle as well.

The only better method than all of these noted is observing someone else clean it for you.
