AWS Plate Carrier
 

I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with the AWS Inc operator choice plate carrier? I'm in the market for a new one, and it appears to have the same features as the LBT 6094 at half the cost. I believe the main store is down in Fayetteville.. And if not, any other plate carrier recommendations out there? I'm just a leg 11B, so it'll be for that kind of work - as a weekend warrior now ;) .

I used a hand-me-down AWS OC PC in Afghanistan. It had about six months usage before I acquired it. I used it every day (hard use) for six more months and I even brought it home with me because I love it so much. Some of the threads on the front flap are missing from playing around in the prone, but overall it has taken quite a beating and held up. Highly recommended, although I've heard from more than one person it might take some time getting to you, especially if you are OCONUS.
