Authoring the story
Quiet Professionals,
Why is it that NAVY SEALS have a penchant writing about their experiences, but the SF community keeps tight lipped? Beyond the obvious answers of OPSEC, US Capabilities, etc., why do you feel their community is more apt to open up? This question is one that I've been wondering about and want your opinion on as you have the inside view. With respect, Red |

There are plenty of books about Special Forces written by SF soldiers and embedded journalists. These books, however, don't get the same attention. No one should kid themselves into thinking that book writing is unique to the SEALs.
