As long as those guns offer a clear advantage to the end user that the iPhone offers over the previous technology than I'm on board. I doubt it and the cynic in me wonders if the programers have built in a kill switch that the government can throw when it suits them.

Kill switch, tracking, product registration for customer support in case you need a replacement watch, yada yada....

This may be marketable to new gun buyers seeking personal protection but otherwise afraid of guns in general and they may accept this as a valid safety technology.
