Mefloquine off the formulary for USASOC
As some of you that know me and the work I have been doing with the VA on SOF exposures I wanted to put up the headlines from the Army Times from today. As of 13 September USASOC removed Mefloquine from the formulary and it will now be enforced by UCMJ. I will be happy to give anyone the official memo and instructions for getting checked out. You cannot fake mefloquine toxicity and the damage is easy to find with the right screening methods. Please hit me up at gdardia@hotmail.com and I will send you all the details. http://www.armytimes.com/article/201...-malarial-drug

I have read a report on the effects of mefloquine and am curious specifically towards the neuropathy in my legs. Look forward to seeing what you have...:munchin |
Geoff, post an intro here.
http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...ad.php?t=36757 I'm sure most of the guys and gals here are tracking. There are a few threads already started about it. Once you get linked up and settled, there are a few facebook users here that could use the repository of info you and Beverly have compiled. JB |
