Memorial Day is one of my favorite holidays. It is a day that causes me to reflect on those that gave all. Not just with their lives which is the ultimate sacrifice, but of their time and blood to help make this nation what it is today. Regardless of many wrong turns that we have taken as a nation, IMO, we are still the greatest of nations and their sacrifices were not made in vain.
To all those who have served and are serving today -- thank you sincerely for your service and the sacrifice you are making and have made to keep our nation great.
You have my heartfelt thanks.
