I was assigned to the unit in Pueblo for a while. Now I'm a REMF.

On the way

Hay Dave. I'm on my way back to the 19th; I sent my paperwork in last week, I'll meet a Rec in Denver this week, and do a physical in Friday. You know me... 5 years left and I'll need the retirement, so I have to get back in the saddle. Can't just sit around when someone may need a good used 18 C!

Damn Bud! I wish I could join you! But as you are well aware, I would be a liability to a team at this point. I miss the team and working with you in that capacity.

I'm in A Co.

I was in the REC there before I went to the Q.

Anyone from B Co?

I'm hoping for a place in B/5/19, but I live in the middle of nowhere, so I am flexible. Fly to CA, fly to CO, fly to Washington... it's all the same eh? I was in B/5/19 till 2000; then took a job w/ the NMARNG. 2 years in Saudi as a contractor so I went IRR for that, and now it's time to re-animate. I figure with my quals I have a decent probability of being called up, and why go with people you don't know, when you can go with people you do know? Besides, I'm "rusty", which is the State Department way of saying I was perfectly happy loading my rifle from the front; thus, I'll need some exposure and training time to get it together.
