For the non-QPs: What is "wrong" with this weapon?

Bonus points: Who made it?

Divemaster 02-15-2013 22:10

Nothing to see here.

You know, I jumped the gun...saw that little bit late. :D

I got rid of mine clear the quote and it didn't happen.

I see nothing wrong with it, seeing it's probably a weapon for a left handed person.

As with these ....

2nd pic shows a 1911 for a lefty (top) and a 1911 for normal people. :D

Sdiver 02-15-2013 22:23

I also want to add ....

I do agree with Old Dog New Trick, in that it is cocked while on display .... which is a bad thing. ;)

(but it could be on safe. Tough to tell, seeing it's a lefty and the safty is on the other side.)

"Probably". Way to take a stand. :D

But what is it?

Eyes Wide Open 02-15-2013 22:26

Is this a left handed 1911? It looks to me the magazine release, slide release, and thumb safety appear to be on the right side of the gun. Also the ejection port is on the left side. Was there something else wrong?

Is the make a Cabot Southpaw?

Yep. For me, there's nothing wrong with this pistol, hence the quotes around "wrong". I've owned and shot it for about 28 years now. :lifter

Well, I didn't want to offend.
You know those leftys aren't in their right state of mind ..... oh, wait a sec.... errrrr ..... nevermind. :D
