SFAS Selected, need information on going to the Q.
 

Hi All,

I am wondering if it is possible to to enlist 18X and go straight to the Q course? I have been to SFAS (Feb 2012- Selected), Airborne Qualified, DLPT 2/3 in Russian.

When I went to SFAS I was NG, since then I was told my state has zero dollars and Q course will not happen for me until maybe next year. Other candidates had their Q course dates pulled also.

I am looking to go Active Duty and get to the Q asap, I have everything in order and just looking for information on how to go about it.

I want to go to 10th Group as 18B. I can get a 3+/3+ rating in Russian with no problems.

I am an E5 with 5 years active and 2 years NG.
