This is a really good read. Shreckengast read is spot on in many different areas. The commits are interesting to say the least.

I am happy to see some of the hard work that ODAs have put into the VSO program being recognized. It isn't easy and it is slow, extremely hard work but it is what I think can be successful in Afghanistan.

Thanks for sharing the link, which also led to CPT Hanlin's paper (linked at bottom) on an approach to VSO.

Agree totally and it's good to see we are making some progress after 10 years.....;)
