instead of sprinkling bacon bits on your salad, try this healthier and very tasty alternative.

take one package of shittake mushrooms,
wash them well under cold water.
slice very thin then throw in a bowl with olive oil (enough for a thin covering) and salt and pepper. Toss them gently with your hands then layout on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 until crispy.
Use as a garnish on your salads or for a healthy snack.
Trust me, its really really yummy.
