Doesn't sound like an insurance company "screwin'" - sounds like they paid, and after-the-fact went after the true culprit on their own behalf. Cool. Whether it works out in terms of actual dinero, I imagine this gives the insurers some legal maneuver room to freeze/garnish things when discovered, no?

Suing AQ is as stupid as spending billions just to kill them. The US Government is not passing laws to protect us. They are passing laws to protect themselves.

This is a joke since the USA allowed OBLs family to move assets from the US. Maybe the insurance companies can get the assets of all of the Mosques that supported AQ. Maybe the insurance company can now claim more losses on their Fed. tax filing.:mad:

I thought the same thing initially, but the more I thought about it I realized that they may actually gain from it. Any assets frozen or confiscated by the US or cooperative governments can be liened / sized as compensation due to the court order... at least in jurisdictions that recognize it. AQ will obviously never pay directly, but indirectly.... never know.
