Norinco MAK-90

1 Attachment(s)
Anyone have any experience with them? I know a guy who is looking to pick up the package in the image for $800.

"My real question is whether $800 is a good price for that package? I know Nornico's are higher quality than a lot of the other ak style rifles. But I've seen Romanian WASR-10s and Sagias under $500 all over the place. Any Ak aficionados out their know whether the differnce in quality justifies the increased price sticker? "

I figured you guys would know a lot more about this than anywhere else I could think of for a semi-quick response.

Thanks for your time!

Oh, hell they're worth twice that with the optional Che Guevara Patrol Cap.

By the way, who the fuck are you, really...Gabe Suarez? :D

MAK-90's are pretty decent and considering it isn't some American reworked POS I would say not a bad deal. But, some of those mags listed (smokey ones) aren't anything special. Do you know anything about the year? I think that may actually be an older pre-ban, but it's hard to tell.

Is the firearm used? If it is I would take the eight bills and look elsewhere. You can get a nice new one for that amount or less. The American reworked ones aren't that bad. I bought a new Century Arms AK-74 for about five bills. After taking it home I took it completely apart and inspected it with a magnifying glass. Atlantic firearms has a pretty good selection of AKs. The best ones I've seen, and also the most expensive, are the Russian produced Saigas.

Agreed,, If you have to ask.. :boohoo

It would be nice to see the stamping.
Converted Norinco's are in that price range.
If it had (and it doesn't) a milled receiver, twice that, or more.

Pre-ban's not so sure where they fall.. Their prices are driven by collectors.

But quality kit builds can be had very reasonably.
The Russian Saigas are also good, but not collectable.

 A few more millimeters and you got a thousand-rounder. Why buy that Model A shit?

I realize that this is worn out, but...damn.
