The Lady and the Russian

Jeff's site Gun Blast is worth keeping on eye on. His reviews are nothing if not frank and practical.

I thought I'd pass this one along as the lead in is a lady that harvests a 450lb Russian Boar with a .32 H&R..

Jeff used a 9mm S&W MP to get his pig...

I do not advocate these caliber(s) for hunting,, but the article does make you stop and wonder..

One man's pig is another man's sausage.. :D:munchin:D

Perhaps a hijack of your thread but an interesting factoid for me.

Not far from my old home place in Alabama

If you are going to hunt hogs, especially big boar, I hope you have some experience and are a dead shot. If you are going out for the first time to shoot a pig with small caliber, low power ammo, the most important thing to remember is that pigs can't jump and make sure that you are near a tree.
