Lifer juice
This is one that should be near and dear to the heart of most of us. How many of us can't get through the day without the lifer juice or for those not familiar with that word, coffee?
I am a huge coffee fan, have been since before I was in the service. If I miss my daily coffee I am cranky until the caffiene fix has been recieved. |

When I'm working on a set, it's several a day.
But when I'm not working (like now) I just have a nice big mug on Sunday mornings while reading my paper. How does everyone take their coffee ??? Me: I like that Irish Cream stuff from International Delights. Lots of it. "I like my coffee, like I like my women's leg....milky white and kicking" |

Not that kind, the beverage of astronauts. |

You know, really strong tasting orange drink, kind of gritty no matter how mixed up it is. |
I do not drink coffee.

I am to Coffee what Brewmonkey is to Beer: A snob.
I spend way too much time and energy (and money) on Coffee. Though I am not one of those people who will spend $7 on a "Double Tall Decaf Skinney Latte with X flavor"... I hate those fuckers. But seriously, if you're walking around out here with a cup of Millstones or Folgers or something, people will look at you like your face is on fire, and a monkey is having sex with your ear. I have 4lbs of Kona, 2lbs of Kuai, and assorted other roasts in the garage freezer. I start out with a cup of whatever is in the pot when I wake up (Wife makes the first pot, and is gone to work by the time I wake up) which is probably Kona or Kuai, which I drink black, then later in the morning I'll make what is essentially 5 shots of espresso, which I'll mix with about a half cup of milk per shot. I'll drink off of that for the rest of the day (no, not all at once). This is far better than my former practice from my infantry days in the field: Pour 2 bags of MRE Coffee into mouth, wash down with water from canteen. :D I believe that in order to be selected for E-6 in the Marine Corps, you must be able to consume an entire vat can of coffee per day. Twice that for selection to 1st Sgt. I've never actually SEEN it written in any of the promotion criteria listed in the ALMARs, but I know it's in there somewhere! :D |

I don't usually drink anything in the morning, maybe the odd glass of water or Tea (Earl Gray or Bell). Unless I'm out in the bush, in which case I always have water or Tea to rehydrate and whatnot. |
I didn't see an option for an IV...
Drink it black and like it strong, grind my own beans as well. I prefer the Kenya blend from Starbucks, or Kona. Lately I've been making it in a french press and I enjoy the more concentrated flavors. |

YOU SAID THE F WORD !!!!! YOU SIAD THE F WORD !!!!!! |
Trouble maker! At least I didn't capitalize it. ;) Next time I'll use the 'ph' spelling.
Can't help it, I love the taste of coffee that way! |

You know how NDD, just Loooooovvvvveeeeesssssss those "people". You might as well leave your windows open after dropping a spoon, instead of saying the "F" word. |
Coffee is a weird subject to me. Almost every morning, I will have 2 -3 cups before I get to work. I'll usually even take a cup with me in the car on the way. Once at work, I like to have a cup or two. BUT, if there is no coffee available, I'll just as easily enjoy a bottle of water. I'm not hooked on it or anything. I like to have a cup or two, but if that's not an option, I can just as easily enjoy a slug of water from my canteen.
