08 Mumbai Attack

I've recently completed a research project on the Mumbai Attack of November 2008 for a client. I thought that I'd post an unclassified version here for those interested. The file is about 1.5 MB so it will take a second to load. You can download it here - Mumbai Attack Reconstruction.

It's actually two files, a presentation with maps followed by a timeline and order of battle. You'll need adobe reader to view the files.

Thank you for this post. Not only is the referenced material quite interesting, but you've made me jealous.

I've spent the time since my first post scanning the rest of the sight. You guys do really good work. Now I'm really, really jealous!

I've added the sight to my favorites. There's jealousy, and then there is pleasure in learning. I guess we know which one rules my life.

Fivesevenfive,

Couldn't open from the link on the Jedburgh website. .pdf version 5.0 came back with a "file damaged and could not be repaired" note. Thoughts?

Thanks for the link. Interesting subject and look fwd to reading the report.

v/r,
LW

Any reason you're not using the current version of Acrobat Reader?

No good reason I can think of. Looking into the problem now. Planning on getting the full-up version not just a reader version but have been strapped for $$ lately. If I download the latest version, would I have to start with version 6.0, then 7.0, etc, or can I just go to Version 9.0?

Sorry to be so impaired.

Just a thought. If you need to create PDF files, there are online solutions, some of which are free.

To read modern PDF files, I would go to the the Adobe site and install the 9.x version of Acrobat Reader. No intermediate installations required.

Thanks again, fivesevenfive.

I updated the website with a discussion of the tactical implications of a Mumbai-style attack. You can read it here.
