Rainy day Turkey
 

Looked out the back door this afternoon about 2Pm and there stood a Jake wild turkey about 25 yards from my back door. He better be glad its not turkey season.... He feed right up to the water pump house. Must have been thirsty...

I've seen opposums, racoons, fox, and deer from that door but thats the first turkey...

Camera not great but you should see him... I opened the back door and took these pictures.

Its raining here too! Should stop by Friday and then second dove season opens in Maryland on Saturday so I can get back out and mess around

Nice place you have there. Mostly what I see in my back yard is the neighbors dog or their cats.

I have 7 acres but butt up to a friends 50 acre woods...:D Loads of deer and other cirtters in the area. Big 600 acre farm just across the highway and it runs along the NE Cape Fear River. Fish and hunters paradise.
